TICA Bengal Standard

These kittens are all in the "Snow" Bengal color category. Most Bengals are Brown Spotted or Marbled. There are three general color categories: brown, snow, and silver, with the browns as the most traditional and oldest color category. The snows are relatively new, about five years now, and the silvers have just gotten started.

The $200 non-refundable deposit is the same for the Bengals as it is for the Abyssinians. The three Seal Mink Bengal kittens are $700 each. "Princess" is $800. Price for the kitten as a Breeder (not spayed) is double the pet price.

Gabby has lots of glitter, which is highly desirable on a Bengal. Her fur is rabbit-soft and very clear, as you can see from these photos. She is very people-oriented and loves attention, often demanding attention, playing and petting from everyone around her. We expect her to pass on her outgoing personality to her kittens. Here is Gabby's pedigree and TICA title confirmation.

Gabby was bred February 9, 2009 to Jack. She had her babies one day early on April 14, 2009. Jack is: CH Tailwinds Jack Frost of Bagheera - Seal Lynx Point Spotted male born in 2003.

Gabby has been sold for Bagheera's half and traded for a kitten back for Aksum's half ownership to a Bengal breeder in NC.

Why did we sell her? We want to focus more on our Abyssinians, because we have decided to actively work with three separate Aby types -- chocolate, sex-linked red, and traditional including CFA.

We have spayed our other Bengal queen (Tinker) after her litter of kittens was weaned, and are now looking for a great forever pet home for her.

However, her half-sister Gabby shown on this page is an excellent mother cat with International Winner and Supreme Grand Champion lines (her father Ripple was TICA's BEST BENGAL IN THE WORLD IN 2005 & 13th Best Allbreed Cat Internationally) and would be an asset to any Bengal cattery serious about breeding Bengals.

Gabby and Tinker

CH Bagheera La Gabriella (Gabby) is co-owned by Bill & Cathy Brown of Mill Creek/Bagheera Bengals and John & Susan Graham (my husband and me). The collaboration was to help Bill & Cathy show their cats more often and for Susan & John to enjoy some more Bengals in their life. John owns Grand Champion Alter (GCA) Bagheera Linus, Gabby's half brother. CH Bagheera Creme Brulee (Tinker), Linus's littermate, was bought at the same time as Gabby was and is owned in the same manner.

All of these Bengals, including Gabby, were sired by LA IW RW SGC Suwannee Fudge Ripple of Bagheera (pictured above), the best Bengal in the world in 2005. Ripple has an award named after him which recognizes the generosity of his breeder, Larry Snider (the Ripple Effect Award recognizes the best mentor that year), and is well known in the Bengal world (Google "Suwannee Fudge Ripple" and you will be amazed!). Ripple is still a really sweet, gorgeous cat and is very outgoing and friendly, after siring several litters.

Gabby is a better breeding cat than Tinker in some ways (she's bigger and her head type is better) and earned her championship in one show (faster than Tinker Championed) as a result. Gabby birthed her babies easily and quickly, and nursed other kittens with no complaints along with her own.

Gabby's half sister is Bagheera Creme Brulee "Tinker" (pictured at a recent show). Here is Tinker's pedigree and Champion Title Confirmation from TICA. Her kittens have all been sold. The sire of Tinker's kittens is Zeus, of Heavenly Spots Bengals. We appreciate Heavenly Spots stud service for Tinker very much! Zeus has been retired and placed in a loving forever home.
