ADOPTED! - By a wonderful woman named Susan in Denver. She went looking to adopt a rescue Aby from the network of rescuers on this Homeless Abyssinians website, but could not stop thinking about Hershey (his new name is "Mikey"). So after days and days of coming back to him over and over again she knew he was her family. We are so excited for him!
4. ADOPTED - to a family in VA! Kuma is a male Ruddy about 3-4 years old - he would like a self cleaning litter box. This Ruddy is a Real Lover, loves to be held, petted, loves affection, he loves high places like a typical Aby, and he is super smart!!! He will tolerate dogs and likes females with short fur. Thinks long haired cats are males, but that should change after he is neutered. He might do well in a home where he is the "top dog" so to say (Available Now - scheduled for Neuter on Tuesday Nov 16th). ($150) ADOPTED!
5. ADOPTED! Little Corky is a 4 month male Silver Aby kitten that has a crooked tail (Silver/Cream Aby). He is still in the recovery stage and my need a couple more weeks of care here before he can leave and still needs to be neutered 20th of Nov 09. He is an absolute lover. He gets along extremely well with other cats and dogs. He would do very well in a home with another cat for a playmate. He is a true Aby kitten and loves to play, be wild, and crazy, likes high places... He is scratch post and litter box trained. He likes to sleep with you too. He has almost a rabbit fur even though he is a pure Aby, his hair has a bit of a different feel, extremely soft. We had both his mom and dad as rescues from a kitten mill. Mom was adopted, Dad is still here. (He is $250). Available 22 Nov 2009 ADOPTED!
ADOPTED!!! – An Aby loving family in Colorado Springs adopted this little guy and named him “Captain Crook”! Adopted by a Vet Tech in Denver - she wanted to rescue a kitty that needed a human with patience and compassionate tender care... He went to his new home over the holidays and we hear he is coming out of his shell. :-)

ADOPTED!!! to a wonderful woman in Denver Area!!! Will go to her new home next weekend.
"Abygaile is a Ruddy Girl 4 years old... shy and terrified. She is Micro-chipped but the family decided they wanted a kitten and took her to a kill shelter in NM. We went ahead and changed the info to our rescue. She hides until the kids go to bed and then she climbs into bed with us begging for a nice massage and then wants to go under the covers. She has a watery left eye the vet says is due to an under developed tear duct. So no bacteria or virus. She keeps it pretty clean herself but it is something that you might notice on occasion. Her records came with her, she does not need any shots until May 2010 and Rabies May 2011. She would do really well in a home where there are not kids or teenagers in a very low activity home - She is slightly overweight and eats like she never got enough food. She is sweet and will talk to you especially if her food bowl or water dish is too low. She gets along well with all other cats, but we think she deserves to be the 'Only' feline in her home because she is so shy. We would really like to find her the perfect low activity home where she can feel safe and have a happy forever home. She enjoys sitting by your side and loves you to pet her." Cats Run Abyssinians - Cattery and Rescue. Phone: 970-903-1414 Email: sheryl@catsrun.com ALREADY ADOPTED BEFORE POSTING! We also rescued "Elizabeth" a 1 year Cream/Chocolate green eyed female last week (not spayed). She came in with an eye so infected and ulcerated that I thought for certain we would lose it (but she is a fighter), she weighed 2 lbs, came with an URI, diarrhea, hook worms, and lots of ring worm, ear mites, fleas (but negative for FeLV)... The day she arrived I had a woman call from Alabama that got our number from the Homeless Abys website. She is paying all medical bills and can't wait for her "Elizabeth" to be well enough to come be with her (I estimate at least 60 days before she can be well enough to fly coach). So... I again wanted to say thank you. I was able to find her a home before we even posted her info!
