Cedarwood
Rocket Man of Aksum
Born June 8, 2010
Rocket is
from Cedarwood
Abyssinians in upstate New York. He is our
newest stud boy, double registered in TICA and
CFA. Rocket is Baja's brother
(same sire, their mothers are full sisters)
and is a ruddy like his sister. He is a sweet
boy, a real purrbaby!

Rocket
came home with three 2nd BoB Aby Kitten ribbons
in his first CFA show and
three finals ribbons in his first TICA show!
Rocket
at 8 1/2 months old
Rocket
has sired his first litters of kittens, born
April 9 (Piper), May 11 (Dancer), June 29 (Sky),
August 14 (Piper)
and August 16 (Moonlight).
Unfortunately, although his kittens are all
beautiful and sweet, there were only one or
two in each litter of kittens, so we have retired
Rocket and given him to a friend. |

Alexy
Hot Rod Lincoln of Aksum is a red male
Aby. He is an excellent example of this new sex-linked
red color. Linc is one of those "perfect
Abys" with a totally fearless, extremely
friendly personality and very nice conformation. |
Alexy
Hot Rod Lincoln of Aksum
Born May 31, 2008
Neutered February 2, 2011
Linc is
Aksum's first in-house stud and also the first
foundation stud in our sex-linked
red breeding program. His color is (sex-linked)
Red with Chocolate carrying Cinnamon and Dilute.
Bruce
Alexy was generous enough to allow us
to have Linc as our gorgeous and rare sex-linked
red stud boy. We took him home with us at
four months old on October 2, 2008.

We
had our first litter from Linc and Candy born
April 13, 2010. There were five kittens - a
chocolate male, a cinnamon male, two chocolate
torbie females, and one lilac torbie female Blue
River Abyssinians kept as one of their foundation
queens.
Our second
litter of kittens from Linc and Dancer were
born September 22, 2010. There are two kittens
- a chocolate male who went as a pet, and
a chocolate torbie female, also a pet.
DNA
testing from UC Davis confirmed December 5,
2008 that Linc is chocolate carrying cinnamon
and dilute. UC Davis also confirmed Linc is PK
Def and PRA negative.
Linc
was retired in January 2011 and neutered on
February 2, 2011. He will go to the same loving
forever home that his half brother Temur enjoys
now. :-) We hope to have his sex-linked red
half brother (same mother) here in 2012. |

Alexy Temur Khan of Aksum is a gorgeous chocolate male. His sweet, beautiful face, nicely balanced head and body, and big well-placed ears are all excellent Abyssinian traits that we look forward to seeing in future generations here at Aksum. |
Alexy Temur Khan of Aksum
Born March 2, 2009
Neutered March 30, 2010
Temur was
Aksum's second in-house stud and also the first
foundation stud in our chocolate breeding program.
He was born on March 2, 2009. He has a rich
beautiful chocolate color.
Temur's handsome sire, Alexy Kubla Khan, is also the father of our red and chocolate stud Alexy Hot Rod Lincoln of Aksum. Temur's mother, Alexy Pretty Woman, is one of the larger Alexy Abyssinians queens and one of the most beautiful.

Temur is a lot larger than most Abyssinians at 11 lbs. He is a big, sweet boy. Just look at the size of those paws!
Temur and Dancer had
three kittens on April 14, 2010. Their
kittens are: chocolate male (pet), cinnamon
female (pet), lilac female (show/breeder quality
to OhMy
Abyssinians). Temur and Dancer both
carry cinnamon and the dilute gene.
Temur
and Sky had two kittens on
June 21, 2010 - sex-linked red and cream boys
- who went to their new pet home together.
Temur
has been retired to live a life of luxury with "His Special
Person" who already bonded with him when he was a kitten.
